SEO-Requirements#
SEO optimization for PDPs is important because brand products have a high search volume and thus SEO potential. Users often search for specific products and even enter the model number of the product. These users are very close to a purchase decision and should be led directly to the PDP.
- Determine a main keyword and 1 to 3 additional keywords
- Add H1 which includes the main keyword = "product brand + product type + model name/number 
- Add Meta Title = "product brand + product type + (model name/number) + product attributes/USPs" (45 to 60 characters)
- Add Meta Description: Contains a Call-to-Action and should list further individual product attributes (100 to 145 characters) 
- Product description: By selecting USPs/product attributes pay attention to search volume and keywords
- Product information: The detailed description text should be enriched with defined keywords and if necessary with Headings (from H2-H4) 
- Links: If available set a link to the main brand page
